I have always wanted to be a veterinarian. I never had any animals growing up but I started working for my neighbor when I was 7, I’m not sure what it was called but I helped collect money for no kill animal shelters. I also grew up in a neighborhood where there was always stray animals of course I couldn’t keep them but I loved helping reunite them with their owners.
If you could have any animal in the world as a pet, what would it be, and why?
I really want wolf hybrids, I have seen a lot of misunderstandings in wolf hybrids most people think they are just like any other dog and that is not the case, gaining and keeping their trust is based on respect and proper training.
Do you currently have any pets? What are their names and what is your favorite thing about them?
Yes; Shadow and Sunny, they are both Labradors, my favorite thing about Shadow is he is a hunting dog and will play all day long. My favorite thing about Sunny is she is the biggest baby and melts when you call her name.
What do you find most rewarding about working with animals?
Definitely watching them grow or seeing all the different personalities each dog has.
What do you enjoy doing when you’re not working?
I like to volunteer at animal rescues like Settlers Pond or just doing art.
What causes are you most passionate about?
Causes I’m passionate about are animal abuse awareness I can do project after project on animal cruelty and each one would be different.
