Growing up I always had a love for animals. I grew up with a black lab, but always dreamed about owning my own little hobby farm – and now I do! I’ve enjoyed working with animals in both the medical and training aspects and I’m happy to be back at work doing both!
If you could have any animal in the world as a pet, what would it be, and why?
Hmmm, I already own all the types of pets I want! Maybe other farm animals like goats or sheep, but I’m pretty content with what I have. It’s enough!
Do you currently have any pets? What are their names and what is your favorite thing about them?
I live on a farm! I currently have two dogs Titan and Hercules; 5 cats named Topaz, Socks, Quinn, Honey, and Cloud; 4 horses Jesse, Jinx, Bane, and Tornado, 1 pony named Peanut, chickens, ducks, a leopard gecko and a ball python.
What do you find most rewarding about working with animals?
Being able to form a connection with them and helping them
