I have been saving animals my whole life, sneaking kittens in as a child to save them. It has always been my passion and it has been absolutely amazing to turn my passion into a career.
If you could have any animal in the world as a pet, what would it be, and why?
A fox bat because they look like flying puppies and I could share my love of fruit with them.
Do you currently have any pets? What are their names and what is your favorite thing about them?
Axle is my 3 year old cattle dog that keeps me active and is a frisbee fanatic. Stoli is my 12 year old foster fail cat that thinks she’s a dog. Rumchata is my 12 year old rescue cat that has an insatiable love for plastic bags.
What do you enjoy doing when you’re not working?
I love being outside. I love spending time with my kids and my dog outdoors, gardening, time at the lake, and photography.
