I am a big Christian. One of my future goals is to either get into construction or acting! Growing up I always had some sort of pet whether it was a dog, cat, bird, or even a Guinea pig. So when I got older I saw that most dogs unfortunately get mistreated and I feel like working at a vet, no matter the position, I am helping a dog!
If you could have any animal in the world as a pet, what would it be, and why?
Probably a penguin! They are adorable.
Do you currently have any pets? What are their names and what is your favorite thing about them?
I have 3 dogs and 2 cats! I have a miniature Australian Shepherd named Oreo. My favorite thing about her is when she walks because her butt waddles. I have a mini Bernadoodle named Oliver. My favorite thing about him is his personality. I have a mini Australian Shepard mixed with Boarder Collie named Eden. My favorite thing about her is her love for the snow.
What do you find most rewarding about working with animals?
Being able to see the difference in change from a first-time dog to a long-time dog and just seeing how they come out of their shell.
What do you enjoy doing when you’re not working?
I enjoy working with the church like this past week I went on a mission trip to help rebuild homes. I also like to spend time with family.
What causes are you most passionate about?
The American Cancer Society because my family has a cancer gene and my brother has a blood cancer. Going on mission trips Because I was able to help people who were unable to help themselves do the things we did for them.
