I have grown up my whole life with a bunch of animals. I’ve always had chickens, barn cats, and dogs. I’ve always wanted to know more about medicines and illnesses with animals to take care of them my best. My goal is to become a vet tech. Working with animals has always been a dream of mine. I hope to one day become a large animal vet tech.
If you could have any animal in the world as a pet, what would it be, and why?
I would love to have a miniature cow. They are so cute and would make a good fit for our farm.
Do you currently have any pets? What are their names and what is your favorite thing about them?
I have two dogs. Flora is a labradoodle and she’s so energetic and loves to play. Otto is an Aussie doodle and he loves to cuddle and run. I also have 15 chickens.
What do you find most rewarding about working with animals?
I love when a nervous dog or cat comes in and we get them to open up to us. Sitting with them and making them feel safe.
