Getting accepted into veterinary school and starting my career in this amazing profession. I will never forget opening that letter…

If you could give one piece of advice to pet owners, what would it be?
If an owner has a concern about their pet, consult their veterinarian before looking up symptoms online. Google can be a dangerous place to find advice. Veterinarians will gladly offer advice 10 times over having a pet owner Google something just once.

What’s your favorite comfort food?
Chipotle. Hands down.

3 things people might be surprised to know about you?
I’m an avid sports fan. Strong loyalty to the Cubs, Bears, Blackhawks, and Bulls. I am not a fan of winters because I enjoy outdoor activities like golfing, fishing, and attending baseball games. I love to cook—everything from preparation, the cooking process itself, the presentation, and of course…the eating…is fun for me.
