Dolores T.

I’ve been an animal advocate for 28yrs, it was in caring for exotics I found a purpose to educate and care for other rehomed animals. While I joined this hospital to learn better means to speak with the public and gain more confidence in our abilities with all species. I’ve gained so much more… I don’t think I’ll be away from Coyne at any point in our endeavors to care for your animals too.

What do you find most rewarding about working with animals?
Understanding the deepest purpose in life for all of us I would suppose, the existence of each animal is like that of you and me, important, special, and necessary for the continuation of the symbiotic nature of the world we live in. The personalities and communication abilities are never-ending, and there is always something new to learn.
What do you enjoy doing when you’re not working?
I’m a gamer at heart who also loves to create artwork. Though I do keep my nose in the books at times, I enjoy Pathogen, genetic, biology, and herpetological research studies and long nights watching documentaries!
What causes are you most passionate about?
Protection of our Native and non-native wildlife and ecosystems, as well as Captive care of such species in the happenstance that the wild becomes unsavory to provide life for any of its creatures.
