My career goal is to eventually move up to a Veterinary Technician. I’ve been working with animals and participating in 4H for over 10 years which only grew my love animals. I grew up on a farm with tons of different animals. During that time I shadowed our vet when he came to the farm and that’s when I realized that saving animals and advocating for their health is what I wanted to do.
If you could have any animal in the world as a pet, what would it be, and why?
Elephant. I always loved elephants and how beautiful they are. In some cultures, they are a representation of strength which made me love them even more.
Do you currently have any pets? What are their names and what is your favorite thing about them?
I have two dogs. Tucker and Pickles. My favorite thing about Tucker is how he treats every toy like his own baby. My favorite thing about Pickles is that he loves to cuddle.
