Animals have a huge piece of my heart! My goal in the future is to own my own boarding facility. I started learning more about animal care and medicine when my parents’ dog started to have seizures. This experience has inspired me to learn as much as possible about animals and medicine so that I can help my family or others in the future.
Do you currently have any pets? What are their names and what is your favorite thing about them?
I have a 2 year old Siberian Husky named Zeus and my favorite thing about him is that whenever he wants attention he walks between my legs and looks up or paws at me. I also have 3 crazy cats Shadow, Jax, and Ziggy. My favorite thing about all 3 of them is that they love each other like siblings even though I adopted them 1-2 years apart from each other. Can’t forget about the play time at 2AM bouncing off the walls.
What do you find most rewarding about working with animals?
The most rewarding part working with animals is being able to comfort, care for, and watch them grow.
What do you enjoy doing when you’re not working?
When I’m not working, I love to spend my time with my daughter and family.
