Although I’m currently enrolled in nursing school, working with animals is truly one of the most rewarding jobs one can have. I love meeting new animals every day and saying hello to our regulars. It’s my goal to make every dog feel welcomed and comfortable while they’re here!
If you could have any animal in the world as a pet, what would it be, and why?
Cheetah, I love spicy cats.
Do you currently have any pets? What are their names and what is your favorite thing about them?
I have two dogs and two cats. Ruger, Faye, Oscar, and Birdie. I love them all equally!
What do you find most rewarding about working with animals?
Seeing their improvement throughout the healing process and how fast they can get back on their feet. They always maintain a positive attitude even in difficult situations.
What do you enjoy doing when you’re not working?
I don’t have many hobbies because I’m in school full-time and work part-time at another job but I do really enjoy reading and napping when time permits!
What causes are you most passionate about?
I’m very religious and most passionate about Christianity
