Kaylin B.
I’ve had a soft spot for all animals since I can remember. Knowing each time I go into work I have the ability to make a difference in the quality of just one of their lives gives me the motivation to keep showing up even on the hard days.
If you could have any animal in the world as a pet, what would it be, and why?
I would love to have a horse one day! I’ve always been so passionate about them, some of my favorite jobs were on ranches.
Do you currently have any pets? What are their names and what is your favorite thing about them?
I guess you could say I already have a horse of my own. We have a 1 yr old Great Dane named Bunta. He is 140 pounds of puppy love and our favorite thing about him is his unique tail kink, it makes him look like a little pig.
What do you find most rewarding about working with animals?
I find that as the years I work at Coyne pass, the most rewarding part is truly knowing these animals and their families. I get to see these babies come in straight from adoption and watch them thrive and grow in their loving homes.
What do you enjoy doing when you’re not working?
When I’m not working I am blessed to be able to stay home with my 2 kiddos and watch as their little personalities grow everyday.
What causes are you most passionate about?
I am very passionate about mental health awareness. I think in a perfect world fully trained service animals would be easily affordable to anyone fighting these hidden battles.
